The Ask
Trans-Clean Truck Wash, a family-run business operating for over 34 years, approached me to modernize their outdated website and branding. Their existing site no longer reflected the professionalism of their services and wasn’t user-friendly, especially for truck drivers who often rely on mobile devices while on the road. They needed a solution that would improve their digital presence, enhance usability for truckers, and better showcase their services and products.
The Design
I started with a complete rebrand, creating a new logo and visual identity that communicated reliability, cleanliness, and modern service standards. For the website, I took a mobile-first approach, designing a dark-themed interface to reduce glare for truckers viewing the site at night. The visual style uses strong, clean typography and bold color accents to emphasize important information.
Key UX enhancements included a clear layout that highlights services and pricing upfront, ensuring truckers can quickly understand what Trans-Clean offers. Instead of static product photos, I integrated AI-generated lifestyle imagery to show products in use, making them more relatable and engaging for customers.
The Development
I built the new website in Framer, taking advantage of its flexibility for responsive, high-performance designs. I implemented custom features such as a one-tap address copy function, allowing truckers to quickly paste the truck wash location into apps like TruckerPath for seamless navigation.
Framer’s powerful visual editing and animation tools enabled me to bring the new brand to life with subtle transitions and interactive elements that keep the experience modern and polished across devices. The platform also made it easy to manage responsive layouts and maintain consistent design standards for both desktop and mobile views.
the takeaway
This redesign not only refreshed Trans-Clean’s visual identity but also made their website a practical tool for their primary audience: truck drivers. By focusing on mobile usability, clear information architecture, and engaging visuals, the project elevated Trans-Clean’s brand presence and aligned it with their decades of trusted service. The client was thrilled with the modern, driver-friendly experience and is now better positioned to connect with new and returning customers online.
