VolumeLeaders.com is a powerful tool for traders, offering real-time data and insights to help them stay ahead in the market. However, their original website was holding them back – cluttered, visually overwhelming, and lacking the polished, app-like feel that today’s tech-savvy users expect. My task was to transform this dated, text-heavy site into a modern, intuitive experience that captures the energy of a fast-paced trading environment.

CHALLENGE
VolumeLeaders.com was a text-heavy, cluttered site whose outdated design failed to reflect the energy and sophistication of its real-time trading data. The overload of aggressive colors and dense content made navigation difficult and diminished the platform’s credibility. The task was to reimagine it into a sleek, app-like experience that felt modern and intuitive—without sacrificing functionality—so tech-savvy users could engage quickly and confidently.
Design
A deep dive into site structure and user pain points revealed the need for clarity and hierarchy. In Figma, a refined, minimalist color palette was introduced, replacing aggressive hues with a modern, accessible tone. Clean typography and structured layouts gave information prominence while reducing visual fatigue. The goal—a streamlined, app-like interface that allowed traders to digest key data effortlessly—was achieved through prioritized content, smart spacing, and a cohesive visual system that felt fresh, bold, and approachable.

All UI components, assets, and style guides were crafted in Figma to ensure pixel-perfect alignment with the design vision. Given the client’s requirement, a front-end developer was brought in to implement these designs from Figma into code, hosted on the client’s private GitHub. Project coordination workflows were managed via ClickUp, which streamlined collaboration and tracked design handoff, test updates, and QA checks—resulting in flawless execution and site delivery on the client’s own infrastructure.
