The Coto Boys
This project captures the spirit of a mother and her two adventurous boys, brought together by a shared love for nature, animals, storytelling, and gaming. The goal was to create a digital space where their vibrant world comes to life, offering young readers a mix of thrilling adventures, important life lessons, and positive values. The website also serves as a launchpad for their upcoming children's book, blending creative storytelling with real-world lessons to inspire curiosity, kindness, and a connection with the natural world.

CHALLENGE
A creative family with a passion for nature, adventure, and storytelling sought a digital space that could enchant both kids and parents and serve as a launchpad for their upcoming children’s book. The site needed to be playful yet purposeful—inviting young readers into their vibrant world while presenting information in a clear, engaging, and age-appropriate way.
Design
Developed a magically immersive experience in Figma: combining vibrant colors, whimsical illustrations, and intuitive layouts that mirror the adventurous spirit of the content. Navigation was simplified to suit both parents and children, while interactive visual storytelling elements commend easy browsing through adventures and blog posts. The design balances fun with clarity, maintaining accessibility across devices while reflecting the warmth and energy of their brand narrative.
development
Built the site in Framer to deliver responsive, visually rich storytelling without overcomplicated animation. Integrated dynamic image galleries and blog layouts that bring storytelling front-and-center. The structure ensures engaging interactivity while keeping page performance fast and navigation simple so every visitor can easily explore regardless of age.
takeaway
This project reinforced how storytelling-minded UX design can bridge generations. By channeling their creative spirit into playful, accessible design, the site became a welcoming digital home for readers, families, and future fans. It reaffirmed my belief that thoughtful UX is about creating experiences that not only function but also resonate emotionally with diverse audiences.
